Yoga for children improves posture, flexibility, strengh, balance and co-ordination. Non-competitive, it helps develop social skills and imagination. It increases concentration, confidence and is lots of fun.
In this class children are encouraged to learn yoga poses and breathing techniques through games and adventures empowering them with tools to relax and refocus when needed. Mindfulness activities and breathing techniques are introduced as a way to manage our emotions. The class ends with a restful and creative guided relaxation.
The class takes place every Tuesday at Triyoga Ealing during term time at the following times:
4-4.45pm for 4-6 year olds
5-5.45pm for 7-9 year olds
